the problem
Real estate inquiries come in at all hours across multiple channels: the website, phone calls, WhatsApp. Qualifying each one, matching the inquiry to the right property, and booking a viewing is repetitive work the sales team should not be doing at 9pm. The client needed a first-touch layer that could handle qualification and booking while the team focused on closing.
the approach
Deployed a Retell AI voice agent on both the website (as a voice widget) and as an inbound call handler, orchestrated through n8n. The agent qualifies the lead, surfaces property options matching what the caller is looking for, and books the viewing directly into the team's calendar. Built as one piece of the larger real estate platform, sharing data with the CRM and listings system rather than operating as a standalone tool.
the outcome
Live in production since February 2026. Handles first-touch qualification and booking across web and inbound voice without tying up the sales team on initial inquiries.
the lessons
Voice agents for qualification work differently across channels. A caller who dialed in has different intent signals than a web visitor who clicked a voice widget. Tuning the same agent for both required separating the opening flows even when the qualification logic was identical.
